SIDURI 2015, with the smaller crop, more of the final blend came from the wind shielded section of the vineyard, which also ripens earlier. We then worked to blend in fruit from the other two sections, providing more weight and backbone to the final wine. The 2015 Siduri John Sebastiano Vineyard Pinot Noir shows a distinctive spice character, along with red currant fruits and a voluptuous texture. Only on the finish do the balancing tannins (and acids) show up and these help to make for a more complete and intriguing wine.
