Rebel Yell 'Southern Sour Mash' Bourbon (2009 Vintage) 1.75Lt

Originally introduced in the 1930s, Rebel Yell used a wheated mash bill and was initially distributed only in the South before expanding nationally. The label on this bottle references W.L. Weller founding his distillery 14 years before the Battle of Chickamauga in 1863 and highlights the use of the original Southern sour mash recipe linked to Weller’s early production. Though the recipe dates to 1849, the brand was created in the 1930s (registered in 1936). It was often marketed as the "official bourbon of the South".
