POGGIO ANTICO BRUNELLO D.O.C.G. 750 ML

Made with 100% Sangiovese from Montalcino and produced in the traditional way, our classic Brunello let’s the purity of the grape shine through. Long wood aging and bottle refinement give this wine incredible depth and complexity. The 2015 Brunello is aged for 30 months in 40hl traditional Slavonian oak casks, followed by 18 months of bottle refinement. This wine has great cellaring potential. Intensely mineral, with lots of red fruit flavors, garigue, and geranium notes, this wine makes a wonderful accompaniment to duck, herb encrusted lamb, pasta with a ragu sauce and steak.
