Macallan 22 Year Old The Flask Icon Design X Oakley

The Macallan 22 Year Old, The Flask was a US-only release by Macallan. Featuring a flask made from food-grade steel and wrapped in carbon fibre designed by Oakley, and a 22 year old Macallan single malt, this release has long been the envy of many whisky collectors on this side of the pond. 

The 22 year old whisky was matured in American oak casks that were used as sherry casks, in contrast to Macallan’s usual distilling style. 

Oakley are perhaps most famous for their sunglasses. This collaboration allowed Oakely to explore another side of high-end metal products, creating a bespoke flask good enough to hold 22 year old Macallan whisky. 

The US-only release was made available in 2013 and was limited to 400 sets
