Alcesti Nesos Nero d'Avola Sicilia IGT 750ml

Nesos - Nero d'Avola Sicilia - Denominazione di Origine Controllata Vegan Wine Sicilian origins, grown typically of inland hilly areas, the grapes of the Nero d’Avola express all the Sicilian terroir. Harvested by hand in small boxes, de-stemmed and macerated at a controlled temperature between 24 and 27° C. Aging takes place in stainless steel vats and french oak barrels for 6 months. Stored one month in bottle before being marketed. Grapes harvested between the 10° and 20° day of September. This wine is intense ruby red in colour. It is characterised by an embracing aroma with strong notes of red-berried fruits in perfect harmony with notes of spices and vanilla. It is rich, ample and persistent on the palate with a distinct but pleasant note of freshness, which is typical of this grape variety. It is ideal served with asparagus based dishes, soups and grilled peppers.
