Originally barrelled in December 2006 and then dumped into new barrels in April 2013 - Abraham Bowman Limited Edition Release 8 Double Barrel Bourbon is matured for another 6 months in the distillery's Warehouse A1 before being transferred to Warehouse K's mezzanine to rest for yet another 5 months. The mezzanine provides better airflow around the barrels which incorporates a distinct finish to this superior selection. Non-chill filtered, Release 8 Double Barrel Bourbon promotes aromatic layers of honey, apples, pears, vanilla, and caramel over a palate of sweet oak, vanilla, and warm spice.
