2016 Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Rye Whiskey 750ml

10-year single barrel Kentucky straight rye, 92.8 proof. One of the distillery's most limited production releases. Aroma and palate deliver deep vanilla and toffee with toasted almonds and cinnamon, an ample dose of crushed pepper and a hint of orange citrus on the finish. Chatham Imports, the new owners of the Michter's name started a new company called Michter's Distillery LLC, and operated as an NDP for a number of years, meaning they sourced their whiskeys from other distilleries and bottled it under their own name. Many of these releases have been incredibly sought after, with some early releases of their Michters 10 year old single barrel bourbons rumored to have been sourced from the legendary Stitzel-Weller Distillery.
