One Term Presidential Dram Straight Bourbon is aged a minimum 4 years old. This Single Barrel Whiskey is sourced from MGP, Indiana, and non-chill filtered, and bottled at the exact proof they exit the barrel. Tasting Notes: Like any great politician subtlety is this whiskeys forte. Starting off sweet with apple skin, honey, peach cobbler, caramel and vanilla, graham cracker. The sweetness leads into some intriguing wood notes in the form of fresh cedar, cigar box, newly cut wood, amidst all of that there is this hidden root beer note that keeps you looking for more. The palate melds what we were smelling into caramel covered apples, elegant smoke, leathers', the alcohol adds a cinnamon type spice, nutmeg. The finish is pleasant and lasting where the sweetness slowly fades as the caramel and spice linger.
