Hennessy Paradis is a cognac that was originally conceived by Maurice Fillioux, a master blender at Hennessy, in 1979. Fillioux blended a selection of premium eaux-de-vie that had been laid down by his grandfather. The resulting cognac is a masterpiece of purity and finesse, with remarkable depth and elegance, making it a truly delightful and sophisticated digestif. Considered to be the most sensual facet of the classic Hennessy house, this Hors d'Age Cognac dates back to the 19th century and comes directly from the maison's oldest and most precious cellar, known as the Paradis, where the finest eaux-de-vie are stored.
Maurice Fillioux curated the Hennessy Paradis using his family's rarest collection of spirits. With over 30 years of artisanal experience and an ear for music, he fused more than 100 different eaux-de-vie to create a delicate melody of notes that will enchant the senses of anyone who experiences it. Some of the eaux-de-vie used in the blend even date as far back as 1880. By assembling a structure of notes from his grandfather's collection, Fillioux has crafted an extremely fine blend that pays tribute to his family's legacy of crafting exceptional cognac.
