Burrito Fiestero Castilla is a member of the exclusive Ancestral lineup that is crafted in Durango, Mexico. Arturo Conde is responsible for producing this mezcal in Pino Suárez, Durango. The traditional method of production involves hand milling the agave using axes and distilling the spirit in a clay and wood (viejo) Philippine still. This still features clay pots in the bottom chamber and a wooden upper chamber. As the mezcal condenses, it trickles down a bamboo conduit into a collector. This careful distillation process imparts the unique and complex flavor profile that characterizes Burrito Fiestero Castilla.
